Chief Operating Officer & Corporate Counsel
Joe Porcelli brings 30 years of experience as a corporate attorney to his role as Counsel to DGC. He spent 25 years as a named partner in the boutique downtown law firm Maloney & Porcelli acting almost exclusively as corporate counsel to New York City restaurants, including the Smith & Wollensky steakhouse chain. That group named its now-famous restaurant on 50th Street after their attorneys, a fun tribute to long years of service.
Since 2003, when M&P disbanded, Joe has served as counsel to a select group of clients; acted as an Administrative Law Judge for the City of New York; sat on the board of directors of The Smith & Wollensky Restaurant Group, a public company; and served as head of the Environmental Protection Committee of Community Board Six in Brooklyn.
